CHRIST THE KING Academy
AND THE WELS
The Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS) has been providing Christian education for over 150 years. Considering its early childhood, elementary, and high school system, the WELS manages the fourth largest private school system in the United States. Currently, WELS congregations operate nearly 400 early childhood centers, 300 elementary schools, and 27 high schools.
Christ the King Academy (CTK) has been operating as part of the WELS school system since 2010. CTK operates an early childhood education center along with a kindergarten through grade eight program on the same campus. Students from CTK consistently score above the national average on standardized testing. CTK is blessed with a kindergarten through grade eight faculty specifically trained to be professional educators in the WELS school system. All teachers hold at minimum a bachelor’s degree in elementary education.
